Me, Oh My! Heck Yes to this second Royal Shifter novel. Loved this story and the chemistry between the main couple is undeniable hot. L.P. Dover knows how to pull at a readers heartstrings and then the next scene you'll be blushing with a fan in hand.
Cursed with death following everywhere she goes and everyone she loves, Tyla Rand, is afraid to love. Tyla's worst fear becomes a reality when on a full moon she finds her true mate. That event should be a wolves greatest moment, but Tyla fears giving into love will only be the end in death like before. True born royal, Sebastian Lyall, couldn't be happier knowing he found his mate in the alpha female Tyla, but her constant rejection is pushing him farther and farther into the darkness. Headless of their relationship status, the two go on a mission together to retrieve Tyla's cousin Amelia who appears to have been kidnapped. The situation becomes more and more complicated with the enemies being more dangerous than first believed. But none of it will matter if Tyla doesn't figure out what to do with Sebastian, who is on the edge of control the longer he is unmated.
Overall, Loved it! Sebastian is honestly downright hot in the "just ask and it's yours" kind of way. Any man who is at your service and gorgeous is sexy, Tyla is one lucky girl. (yeah I'm a bit jealous of a fictional character) Tyla was a strong female lead, a bit too strong at times in not wanting to be weak in love so as not to feel loss; Which I found was a bit frustrating only because Sebastian was in such a state of torment without Tyla and more importantly her love, so I began to hate her for a bit for not giving in despite her insecurities. This story brought back our fav characters from the last story and introduces new characters for books to come. One surprise character is a real game changer for Sebastian's family and I hope we get more in the next book. So if you are looking for a book about a royal wolf who is in desperate need of his mates love but she's afraid to accept their union despite their hot sparks for fear of losing him, all the while danger is lurking and may rob them of any chance of happiness, then this book is a great choice.
